They might as well change the name back to "Sahara", put the old neon and flashing lights back up, drop the room prices and turn it back into a low-roller's joint again. But of course they never will...

$100-$300 rooms aren't going to fill up in that no-man's land at the north end of the strip.

Was a bad idea from the start. Should have stayed as a debt free bargain joint like CC, which makes tons of money.

Hotels, understandably, want to "price out" the people that are not in the market they want to pull from. But, a hotel casino (HC) can get rude and pushy with the high prices. Heck, I get pissed when I choose to weekend at a hotel and they have their stupid "convenience fee" for the internet, the water, the air in the room and the fact the toilet flushed. Dumb people / companies, very short sighted! One place made me so angry that I do not stay there at all ...due to their convenience fees". When friends come to town they do not stay there either because I do not take them there and I do not recommend them either! ...convenience??? Not mine. Charge what ya want...try gettin' it.
